Last year, we adventured out to Aspen, CO with Suzanne and Jim to photograph their engagement, but also capture their love for travel. Within the blink of an eye, it was already time for their wedding! To start off, Lenin met up with the guys at J+S house to hangout for a bit. Rebecca hung out with the girls, meeting up at Old Trinity of Paseo shortly after. It was quite the blur of a morning, but soon Suzanne was walking down the aisle, looking beautiful as ever. They exchanged their sweet vows, Jim pausing to wipe away Suzanne’s tears as she spoke. It felt like we were all watching the beginning of a great Nicholas Sparks film or something.
Soon after, we all met up over at Suzanne’s parents’ house for the giving away the bride traditions. It was a short but sweet tea ceremony, followed by a quick snack before it was back to taking pictures. Despite the bright sunlight, we were able to find a bit of shade. Everyone looked great, of course. But Suzanne and Jim? Straight FIRE. =)
Once the reception started, the party was on. The first dances made us tear up. The speeches made us smile. The amount of love and merriness in the room was incredible! When it came time for the table games and greetings, well, we’ll let you see the pictures for yourself! From hands and glutes, to shots and cards, things were definitely entertaining to say the least. And let’s not forget the epic dancing from the groom, Jim. The windmill will never be the same. Thank goodness for spare pants!
All in all, it was a fantastic evening and we were so happy to be a part of it. Here’s to a lifetime of love, happiness, fun travels and clean teeth! But also, here’s to lifelong friendships!!
